ReplyDeleteI couldn't stop taking photos.
DeleteSome of the painted walls remind me of the churches we visited in Germany. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat would make sense because Ammannsville, TX is close to Schulenberg, TX. Probably settled by Germans or Czech people. It is indeed beautiful.
DeleteYou are both right. The churches were settled by Czech immigrants. Many of the items inside the churches are from other parts of Europe.
DeleteWhat a beautiful church! The name of the town is so close to my mother's maiden name I wonder if there's a connection. I'll have to do some research!
ReplyDeleteThe town was named after a Mr. Ammanns. I wonder if there is a connection.
DeleteSuch a beautiful peaceful place.
ReplyDeleteStay Healthy
