    1. It is my happy place. The library offers curbside service and ebooks, and that's how I'm surviving right now.

    1. It was made by high school students. The artwork over the entrance was made by one of our town's citizens.

  6. When we used to take vacations, I would always visit the library of the town or city we were in. I still have library cards for some of them. I love a good library. Ours are totally closed except for curbside and online stuff. Our libraries are not cozy. They are the new fangled ones meant for socializing so they are loud and I do not enjoy spending time there. Not like the libraries of my youth. Even the one at the university where I work added a coffee shop in the middle of the library which is so loud with its espresso machine and always smells like burned bagels. LOL.

  8. Beautiful library! I love the colorful mural/mosaic, as well as that raised relief above the entry. Our libraries are closed again due to the pandemic, but I still have plenty of my own books on my shelves. Like Ti, we tend to visit libraries when we're traveling, especially if we need WiFi.

  10. That colourful mural is beautiful, I love a library. Our local one is very modern and a bit soulless to be honest, it needs some colour.

    1. You are right. One day, when I go back inside, I will take a picture.
