Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each Tuesday That Artsy Reader Girl assigns a topic and then post her top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join her and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
I loved I Feel Bad About My Neck.. Probably picked up three different copies at the thrift store and loaned all of them out! Takeaway line: “When your children are teenagers, it's important to have a dog so that someone in the house is happy to see you.”
ReplyDeleteThose are new to me ones. This post took me longer than I thought it would to write! Mostly because I was trying to do it from memory instead of using goodreads! Lol!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I've read 7 from your list and loved them all. Great list Deb
ReplyDeleteWow, you've read a lot recently! Good for you. I adored A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, too.

those 3 word reviews are pretty good! I recently finished Miss Benson's Beetle ... a book club read.
ReplyDeleteWinesburg, Ohio sounds interesting. I wonder if it's a real place, too?
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I love your three-word reviews! What a terrific list!
ReplyDelete"wizard. tourist. trunk." I'm cracking up!
ReplyDeleteI need to start limiting myself to three-word reviews. I do like to blather on. Great job!
I've read half of the books on your list and mostly agree with the ratings you gave. I like the concept of the three word review but suspect it is not that easy to come up with just three words.
ReplyDeleteI want to read The Portable Veblen - have it on my list - and I'm happy to see that you liked it. That means I probably will, too.
Wow. So many five-star books. I am adding Infinite Country to my reading list right now. Love the way you organized this post!

ReplyDeleteSeveral of these are on my TBR, so I appreciate the reminders. I liked that you gave your ratings as well. Nice list Deb.
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of the Vacation one.
ReplyDeleteGoodness Gracious Me!!! That's one diverse list. I love it!! And it's mainly 4 and 5 star reviews!! How awesome is that. I've read a few of these at least.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well dearest Debbie!!
