I'm back at the Hop for the first time since March.
I'm trying Follow Friday and for the first time.
I will be visiting a lot of book blogs today!
Let me introduce myself for those who have not met me.
Bonjour! Enchanté! I am debnance at readerbuzz.

books about education, and creative nonfiction.
I never read genre fiction or

The question of the week: Do you listen to music when you read?
If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?
I have been listening to French music for months. Pandora is my favorite spot.
I have a station there named La Vie en Rose. Join me, if you like.
Oh, and I love to listen to SportsRadio610 in Houston.
Listen from 2-7 pm CST and you might hear my son, Ben Nance.

Hi, just blog hopping through. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI listen to music mostly when I write, not when I’m reading. I listen to Celtic and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Check out ketch1714.wordpress.com for Follow Friday and a featured movie clip.
Best,
Kelsey
You've got....a new follower.

Love your blog! Found you on the hop...come and visit me: www.booksaremything.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteBlog hopping, here. I do like it quiet when I read, although it doesn't necessarily have to be silent. I can read in public, at the beach, on an airplane, in a waiting room. But the quieter the better. Putting you on my blog roll.
ReplyDeleteHopping by to wish you a wonderful weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the idea of visiting France...I don't speak any French, though...boo-hoo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.

I don't listen to music while reading, but I do watch television. Probably because I have a TV addiction in addition to a mad craziness for books :)
Thanks!
Happy Friday. Come see how I listen to music when I read.
ReplyDelete17 days in France. I just may die of envy. What an amazing experience that must have been! I can't imagine how you come down off that high and go back to a normal life, but I hope the rest of your summer isn't too dull in comparison!
ReplyDeleteFound you on the hop,
Dianne

Thanks for stopping by The Prairie Library yesterday! My mom loves French "cafe" music. She plays it a lot when I'm home. It's fun. I hardly ever use online radios. My husband is very into music so we have a huge selection at home. So, I tend to not listen to the radio very often. But I suspect online radios offer a greater variety. Anywho, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello! I'm so glad I came to visit your blog. Your so lucky to be able to travel to France. What a beautiful country!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!

ReplyDeleteI like Pandora too. Especially at work when I'm doing paperwork. I find the silence to be suffocating. I discovered your blog via the Hop!
ReplyDeleteJ'adore lire aussi. C'est fantastique car les mots dans un livre fait vibrer l'ame au complet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and will tag you for my list too. Don't mind me while I take a twirl around :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'll have to take a look at that 1001 children's book list and see if I can start that! It looks like a definite challenge. The 1001 (adult I guess) list is so daunting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by our book blog. Hope you check out our others too! (The links are listed in the right sidebar.) I see we have a lot in common--all except for the traveling. Returning the Hop! I've never been to France - kinda hard when I've never left the country - but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Pandora is pretty awesome, though it's a shame they've had to add commercials. Have a great week!

Thanks so much for hopping by. I really need to work on my French for my history masters degree and it would make reading Quebec records a lot easier!
