Nothing wrong with a little Yoga apart from I've never tried it
ReplyDeleteIt's quite lovely. Calming. Slows down the world.
DeleteI tried yoga once. Did it improperly and hurt myself. just stretches as I move around work for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad thing.
DeleteJust wonderful !
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I took a yoga class this winter and decided that there needed to be special yoga classes for the fidgety! I'm all for stretching, but the lying on the floor for minutes at a time made me antsy! I'll be glad to get back to running.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to suggest this to all my fellow library volunteers!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they don't use chairs, they have so many.
ReplyDeleteHow i loved yoga/pilates when i was able to go! Don't quit!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of yoga! I can definitely tell the difference from when I'm practicing regularly and when I take too long of a break.
ReplyDeleteYes Yoga helps relax. Love the setting.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
I've only been to one yoga class, but when we moved to Oregon I decided to give it another try. I signed up for a video series taught by Cat Kabira. I'm really enjoying it! I hope to do more, maybe in a class, later this winter.
ReplyDeleteI do yoga each morning, a few exercises mostly stretching that's good for starting the day and keeps me fit. I only do gymnastic nothing spiritual !
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for destressing during a conference.
ReplyDeleteInteresting with yoga!
ReplyDeleteThose yoga poses look so easy ... but they're NOT! I tried yoga a couple of times, but I guess I'm just not flexible enough. Should give it another try... or maybe tai chi.
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Snapshot post features hiking, ferns, and a beaver dam.
Looks like a great break from the stress! Thanks for sharing, and here are MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOTS
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I've been meaning to get back into yoga. Our gym (which we just re-joined) has a Kids/Family Yoga class and my son, daughter, and I are going to start attending that.
ReplyDeleteYoga and books - sounds like fun! Hope you enjoyed the conference.
