We wait until the last day to visit the Eiffel Tower.
We plan a picnic. A breakfast picnic.
We walk and walk. We do not see the Eiffel Tower.
We go around a corner and suddenly there it is. The Eiffel Tower.
It is early.
Do you notice anything?
Yes, there are no people.
We enjoy the Eiffel Tower alone. It is all ours.

Wow, you've seen the Eiffel-tower! Morning is the best time...
ReplyDeleteI'm living in Europe, but I never was in Paris, as a disabled person with a very small pension can only travel by reading blogs.
Greetings from Germany
It's the way I usually travel to Paris.
DeleteI think you had the right idea having a breakfast picnic with no one around and you did exactly what I would have done took a selfie in front of the tower

DeleteI was astonished to see that no one was there in the morning.
DeleteI love that one pic where you walk down that alleyway and see the tower. It just comes up on you! I've never been to Paris. I have always wanted to go but two of my friends went recently and had bad experiences with theft, etc. They aren't naive either but they said everywhere they went pickpockets were the norm and they don't even know each other. Totally separate trips. Has me second guessing a visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely views of the tower. Thanks to you, I feel like I have now been there!
ReplyDeleteA trip to Paris is on my "must do" list. Thank you for sharing your Eiffel Tower experience. What a good idea to visit it early in the morning. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

A morning visit is the best! I also enjoy seeing sights when there are no crowds. Thanks for sharing! And for visiting my blog.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely experience. She's a beauty isn't she? My heart swells every time I see her. So nice to be there crowd free. It's amazing how far you walk in Paris.
