I've never seen so many different varieties. Around here we see The Monarchs, Black Swallowtail, Little Yellows, and the red admirals mostly. Pretty post collage Deb, thanks for sharing.
Photographing butterflies can be a challenge, one that you seem to have overcome. Wonderful pictures.
I've seen a few Monarch's here. I'm not sure if I would be able to identify most others, but you seem to have been able to capture their beauty.
Great photos and I'm so impressed by all the varieties you've captured! I love seeing butterflies in our garden but haven't seen as many this spring. Hopefully we'll see more soon!
My goodness they are all so beautiful.Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
I love butterflies so I think they are all the most beautiful :)
Simply beautiful shots. We get mostly Tortoiseshells and Cabbage Whites here, but the one I most love to see is the Red Admiral.
We see Monarchs now and then but this year, for us anyway, we haven't had many butterflies. Probably due to the lack of rain. We had a few weeks where everything was blooming and now everything is dry again.
How beautiful! I love butterflies and your choice of photos is just brilliant! Some I know from our area, others I just met here! Thank you so much!
You have some beautiful butterflies there, I have seen very few here so far this year
Gorgeous butterflies! I don't even know which kinds we have here. But I do recognize the Monarch. I should keep an eye out.
I love butterflies, they are so pretty.
Around here we see The Monarchs, Black Swallowtail and some others, but they might be moths. We see little yellow ones a lot. Wonderful pictures Deb.
Can never have enough of butterflies and thanks for posting an entire collection, Deb. Been a while since I saw you on #WordlessWednesday/#WednesdayWisdomhttps://natashamusing.com/2021/05/shukr-gratitude-wordlesswednesday-wednesdaywisdom/Here goes if you would like to hop in.Have a good weekend.
A lovely collection of butterflies! The only one I see here, is the Red Admiral, I think.
