It was a week of re-emerging into the world. We went out to eat at a restaurant, I joined a swim class, I met with my book club in person, I went to a retirement party for a beloved former colleague...life almost felt like it was, if oddly, back to normal.
I finished three books. I'd been reading each of these for over a month. One was a book of meditations. One was a book of poetry. One was a book of folktales. I highly recommend all three. Click on the links for my reviews.

Good Thing #1
My husband and I ate at a restaurant.
It's our favorite local Mexican food restaurant.
We ate outdoors.
I had enchiladas and a margarita.
Good Thing #2
I joined a swim class.
My Y has not reopened,
but our town offers lots of classes, too.
I went to the first class Thursday.
Lots of my other friends from the Y have joined.
It was fabulous.
Good Thing #3
Our book club met together in person
for the first time in over a year.
We were so happy to see each other
that we didn't even talk about the book.
I'm happy you found your way to the Sunday Salon. Sunday Salon is a place for us to link up and to share what we have been doing during the week. It's a great way to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.
Some of the things we often talk about at the Sunday Salon:
- What was your week like?
- Read any good books? Tell us about them.
- What other bookish things did you do?
- What else is going on in your life?
