The Wild Remedy; Life on the Mississippi; Last Witnesses; Adrift; and Inciting Joy

I finished three more nonfiction books this week. I'm focusing on reading only nonfiction during November. The links below will take you to my reviews.

I'm still reading four very good nonfiction books.

Adrift: America in 100 Charts by Scott Galloway (Nonfiction)
Inciting Joy: Essays by Ross Gay (Nonfiction)
Life on the Mississippi by Rinker Buck (Nonfiction)
Lost Witnesses: An Oral History of the Children of World War II by Svetlana Alexievich (Nonfiction)

Last week I posted here at Readerbuzz:

We are spending this weekend up in Big Sandy with our son and his family as well as my brother and his family for an early Thanksgiving

Good Thing #1

We've been looking for a table
for eight years.
We finally bought one at the Round Top Antiques Show.

Good Thing #2

I painted
the back of my pantry door
with chalkboard paint.

Good Thing #3

It's baking time!
Egg Nog Bread and
Paul Hollywood's Double Chocolate Cookies.

I'm happy you joined us here at the Sunday Salon. Sunday Salon is a place to link up and to share what we have been doing during the week. It's a great way to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

Some of the things we often talk about at the Sunday Salon:

  • What was your week like?
  • Read any good books? Tell us about them.
  • What other bookish things did you do?
  • What else is going on in your life?

Other places where you may like to link up over the weekend are below. Click on the picture to visit the site.
