Alvin!! I'm originally from Jersey Village--near Houston. But have been to Alvin many times.

  8. Debfrance! I love it. Great video too. And I love the cover of The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Taught He To Fly. It's the cat. It's great when they make an expressive cat face.

  9. Lots of lovely cats in these children's books. The cats in Story of a Seagull are particularly responsible, determined to teach a baby seagull to fly despite (1) an inherent antagonism toward seagulls and (2) a lack of flight know-how.

my travels this summer have only been beach-related; nothing quite as exotic as France! It is my dream to visit the Chartres Cathedral in France one day. Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures!

  15. Stacy, it was an amazing trip. Yes, the lavender, the art, the churches, and, especially, the food! I hope you will make it to Chartres Cathedral one day. Start saving your pennies now. It is worth it.
