Things We Miss: The Big Fall and Spring Antique Shows of Central Texas

I bet you have your favorite gatherings that you are missing right now. I do. One of them is the huge antique show that happens every spring and fall up in central Texas. We love to go up there with my sister and her husband and stay at my brother-in-law's grandma's old farmhouse for the weekend and hit the antique show with all its treasures.

The last time I went, last fall, I went with my friend, Lisa, for a couple of days. Lisa loves wine, and she gravitated right to these chairs.

I loved exploring this shop. I'd never visited it before. You can see that the term antique is a loose one.

One day we will go again.

  5. The little cats and the colorful cushions would be something for me ! Here too many things were cancelled ! All flea markets or markets, and shows too ! A pity but there is nothing to do for once the whole world is concerned !

  6. I'm sure you will, Deb! What a fun place. Quite a colourful range of stuff they have on display there! I'd love to visit such a place some day, when life gets back to normal again.
Hopes keep us going from one day to the other, don't they?

  7. What a fun store, Deb! I love the colorful pillows (with the birds). The one thing we're really missing is our roadtrips in the RV. Not only do we love exploring new places, but it's a great way for us to visit family and friends. Maybe not this year, though.
