Wondrous Words: Believe Me, You'll Want to Learn "Tsundoku"

Some new-to-me words from my recent reading.

For more wordless photos, go to Wordless Wednesday.

Wondrous Words Wednesday is a weekly meme where you can share new words that you’ve encountered, or spotlight words you love.  Feel free to get creative! It was first created by Kathy over at Bermuda Onion and is now hosted at Elza Reads.

  1. Yea! Love your memories that you share with us Debbie. Yes, I've just practiced some tsindoku this morning. Had to go and pick up a parcel right next door to a second hand bookshop. I've bought 4. No place on my shelves at all....So they are piling up all over my study!

    Have a wonderful Wednesday Debbie!

  3. I'm not sure I did really want to know the word tsundoku.... ;-)

  4. I doubt I will learn them a little over my head I'm afraid

  5. I was aware of the first two words but had never heard of tsundoku. Wonderful word to describe something that afflicts so many readers.

  6. I was already familiar with the term "tsuhndoku." I knew what it meant, and now I know how to pronounce it.
    I really liked this post!

  7. Yes, I am guilty of tsundoku! I think i need to have a poster with that word in my library :)
