  1. With my feet I'm not a huge hiker but Rick is. I think he would love the views and what you saw. (Well, I would, too!)

  2. Just stunning! I've never been to Arkansas and had no idea what it looked like.

  3. I am living vicariously through you. Still unable to walk. I never thought of Arkansas as a place I'd visit but my daughter's roommate is from there so my daughter has already been there twice and loves it. Bentonville, specifically.

  4. The fourth capture is impressive - that you went there specifically to hike says a great deal. The end of your second trail is spectacular!!

Not sure I could make the last one. Steep sides aha hard for me.

  17. I've never been to Arkansas, but it looks gorgeous, especially with fall colors. Your hikes sound like great fun. I wish my husband enjoyed hiking as much as I do. Love those last couple of photos!

  18. Gorgeous photos! We have a beautiful, popular hike in NC that's called Hawksbill too. I can see the reason for the name better in your photos than in our version.

We've only driven through one corner of Arkansas on our way from NC to Austin and weren't terribly impressed. I can see now that we were just in the wrong part of the state for our taste in scenery. We need to rethink our impression. Thanks for sharing!

  19. Lovely pictures. Looks like quite an incline. LOL My feet doth protest too much. Seriously, they are no better, but worse, and the foot doctor says he's done all he can. Looks like hiking is out as a future adventure.

  20. What stunning views! I admit Arkansas hasn't been high on my list of places to discover but I think I need to move it up higher on my list!

  21. Such pretty hikes! The foliage of the Ozarks seems quite something to behold. Although I have been to Arkansas once I did not get to the National Parks ... as I went to a wedding .... so I need to go back.
