Searching for Italy, Readerbuzz Version: Our House in Cuccaro Monferrato, Italy in the Piedmont Region of Northern Italy

Our trip to Italy is inspired by the Stanley Tucci series, Searching for Italy, in which Stanley (I think he would want me to call him that) visits the twenty regions of Italy in search for the best foods.

We plan to visit two regions during our three-week trip to Italy, Piedmont and Puglia...

Our first stop is Piedmont where we stay in a hundred-year-old house in the country, surrounded by gardens filled with zucchini, tomatoes, basil, apples, and grapes. No shortage of birds or pollinators here. During our time in Piedmont, we will hear the Common Chaffinch, Great Tit, Little Owl, Eurasian Collared-Dove, Common Wood Pigeon, Common House-Martin, Peregrine Falcon, Eurasian Jackdaw, Eurasian Blackcap, Rock Pigeon, Song Thrush, and the Eurasian Magpie---it's a concert every morning.
