I decided to start out the year with poetry. I picked Clint Smith's Above Ground. Here's an interview with Smith on Late Night. See what you think.

I'm joining (or creating) these challenges for 2024.
I began to list 3 Good Things every day during the pandemic. Now I've established a regular routine of writing down my 3 Good Things. Here are 3 Good Things from last week:
Good Thing #1:
We received our first birdhouse
from our granddaughter for Christmas.
I would love to hear
any birdhouse advice you might offer.
Good Thing #2:
I saw this mural on a wall in Galveston
on my way to meet my writing friends.
Serendipitously, our randomly-selected writing prompt
that day was kindness.
