Our Little Free Library was vandalized. We plan to repair but haven't had the time to get to it yet.
ReplyDeleteThat is terribly disappointing, I'm sure. I see mailboxes vandalized here, and I wonder what is the attraction to doing that. Maybe it is just the idea of a challenge.
DeleteAwww That's so nice! My neighbor has one too, and I put some of my books in there that my grandchildren are too old to for now. She was delighted or should I say her children were. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI'm always very happy when I find books and magazines from others in my Little Library or left for me on my porch (sometimes they leave boxes of books).
DeleteWe don't have any around here butthen we have a Library in the village so people do not feel the need to put the free ones up
ReplyDeleteI have so many books that it is fun to share them with others when I finish reading them.
DeleteNice that you do that.
ReplyDeleteI won a school district grant to build five more Little Libraries and place them around the community. One we placed in the country town of Liverpool that is in our school district, but which doesn't have a library. Two more are in low-income areas.
DeleteI feel very proud of these libraries.
I've never had that problem, though I'm not saying it would never happen.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteAsh @ JennRenee Read
nice initiative.
ReplyDeletePretty photo, so nice to provide that - it's a good idea.
ReplyDeleteLove this. There's on in an apartment complex near my house, and I try to remember to donate there. I got a good knitting pattern book out of it once too.
ReplyDeleteIt really does go around.
DeleteI can't tell. Is that a person at the box?
ReplyDeleteYes. It was a person in a wheelchair.
